secastello

secastello di Tremosine

Located on a hill, it offers an enchanting view of Lake Garda and Tremosine. Awesome landscape and naturalistic itineraries.

about

This small ancient hamlet located at an altitude of 610 meters offers a very suggestive panoramic view of Lake Garda and the surrounding villages.

Some surface surveys have revealed traces of pre-Roman settlement, ascribable to the Iron Age, so the village was probably already inhabited at that time. Today Secastello is considered an oasis of peace.

what to see

Walking through the small village near the fountain, it seems like taking a leap into the past, when women gathered to draw water, do laundry and water the cattle.

At the entrance to the village there is a chapel, dedicated to the Mother of God with her Child and Saint Anthony.
