To walk down it takes approximately 50 minutes.

This trail is actually part of our excursion n° 2 – which starts from the historic center of Pieve, descend to Campione following trail n° 141 and 150 and then climb up to Pregasio. A challenge hike of 8 km with a difference in altitude of 450m.

what to see

The small church, dedicated to Saint Marco, was built in 1564 during the Venetian supremacy and completed over a century, with the surrounding wall and the bell tower. The interior, with a rectangular plan, has a single nave, on the main altar the altarpiece depicting San Marco with an Angel dates back to 1600s. The side altar is dedicated to the Madonna della Salute. The church was, in the past, the destination of processions in case of drought and pestilence.
