Antica abitazione del curato della Pieve, acquistata successivamente dalla famiglia Cozzaglio “Botegù”.
L’ultimo proprietario, il geometra Pietro Cozzaglio (1897 – 1983), che era stato anche Sindaco di Tremosine negli anni 1949 – 1950, la lasciò in eredità al Comune di Tremosine, perché diventasse un luogo di incontro e cultura. La casa fu ristrutturata e adibita a biblioteca grazie anche al contributo di cinquanta milioni di Lire che Pietro Cozzaglio lascio assieme all’edificio.
È stata sede della Biblioteca civica fino al 2006, anno in cui la stessa venne trasferita all’interno della scuola Luciano Turri; tutt’oggi è sede del prezioso Archivio Storico Comunale. Sopra il portone d’ingresso si nota un dipinto di una Madonna con Bambino, mentre sulla parete sotto il ballatoio in legno si trova murata l’immagine del leone di San Marco, protettore di Venezia.
Originally used as parish priest’home. House Cozzaglio was later bought by the Cozzaglio “Botegù” family. Its previous owner, surveyor Pietro Cozzaglio (1897 – 1983), former mayor of Tremosine from 1949 to 1950 bequeathed it to the concil of Tremosine in order to be used as a cultural meetingplace. The house was refurbishes and turned into a library tank to the 50 millions italian lire that Pietro Cozzaglio left along with the building. It was used as the Civic Library until 2006, when the library was moved to the school Luciano Turry House Cozzaglio is now hosting the precious Civic Historical Archive. Above the front door you can see a painting of a Madonna and Child, while on the wall under the wooden balcony there is the image of the lion of San Marco, patron of Venice.
Ursprünglich als Pfarrerheim genutzt. Das Haus Cozzaglio wurde später von der Familie Cozzaglio „Botegù“ gekauft. Sein Vorbesitzer, Vermesser Pietro Cozzaglio (1897 – 1983), ehemaliger Bürgermeister von Tremosin von 1949 bis 1950, vermachte es dem Konzil von Tremosin, um es als kultureller Treffpunkt zu nutzen. Das Haus wurde renoviert und in einen Bibliothekstank für die 50 Millionen italienischen Lire umgewandelt, die Pietro Cozzaglio zusammen mit dem Gebäude hinterlassen hatte. Es wurde bis 2006 als Bürgerbibliothek genutzt, als die Bibliothek in die Schule verlegt wurde. Das Luciano Turry House Cozzaglio beherbergt heute das wertvolle historische Stadtarchiv. Über der Eingangstür sehen Sie ein Gemälde einer Madonna mit Kind, während an der Wand unter dem Holzbalkon das Bild des Löwen von San Marco, dem Schutzpatron von Venedig, zu sehen ist.
