Un percorso che ci permette di conoscere la Valle di Brasa che grazie al suo torrente fu la sede fin dal XVI secolo di numerose attività̀ artigianali, quali mulini e fucine.  Questa è anche un’ottima occasione per visitare le frazioni di Villa, Ustecchio e Voltino.
Prima di iniziare il nostro percorso ci soffermiamo ad ammirare il panorama dal balcone panoramico d’eccezione posto sul retro della chiesa di San Lorenzo che ci offre una ampia visuale sulla valle di Brasa e su alcune frazioni di Tremosine, la viè posizionata anche una tappa del Cammino del rispetto con messaggio a cura della nostra Associazione. Su di una parete del campanile della chiesa è presente, inoltre, copia della lapide romana che fu ritrovata nei pressi della frazione

Da Voltino, prendiamo la strada principale in direzione di Vesio di Tremosine, prestando sempre attenzione al traffico. Giunti in località̀ Fucine, proseguiamo in salita per la chiesa di San Bartolomeo. Opportuna qui una breve visita alla chiesa ed uno sguardo dal sagrato.
Proseguiamo su strada per giungere all’abitato di Villa, graziosa e piccola frazione con la sua chiesetta ed i suoi pittoreschi vicoli.
Dopo un breve tratto su strada principale all’altezza del vivaio prendiamo il sentiero n° 149 che ci permetterà̀ di percorrere la val di Brasa di fianco all’omonimo torrente.

Secondo gli studi le acque del Brasa provengono dal torrente Bondo che interrandosi a monte, attraversa la morena su cui sorge Vesio per sgorgare a circa 550 metri di altitudine. Il torrente fu la fonte di energia principale per l’operosità svolta nell’ultimo secolo (circa dal 1850 al 1960) nella valle di Brasa (con conceria di pelli, mulini per la macinatura di frumento e granoturco, fucine per forgiare chiodi).

Giunti alle case di Ponti di Brasa si prosegue sul percorso della BVG – Bassa Via del Garda, segnavia 110, in direzione Voltino.
Il sentiero riprende a salire ma senza particolari difficoltà e ci porta nei pressi dell’invaso artificiale della Pozza, che grazie all’acqua del torrente Brasa, alimenta una centrale idroelettrica posta a lago all’interno di una galleria.
Da qui si abbandona la val di Brasa e si prosegue lungo l’itinerario BVG che ci porterà̀ ad Ustecchio.
In questo tratto ci imbatteremo in un luogo interessante, la diaclasi di Voltino, una profonda spaccatura nella roccia già̀ ispezionata e iscritta nel catasto speleologico bresciano, e, di fianco ad essa, un sperone di roccia con vedute stupende sul lago di Garda e sulla catena del Baldo.

Giunti nei pressi di Ustecchio, il nostro percorso prevede di scendere lungo la strada fino alla chiesetta e risalire per il ripristinato ma ripido collegamento con il paese (questo tratto può̀ essere evitato salendo direttamente in paese nei pressi delle strisce pedonali.
Da Ustecchio si sale sempre seguendo l’itinerario BVG – Bassa Via del Garda, segnavia 110, fino a raggiungere Voltino dove dopo un passaggio nel centro storico, torniamo alla chiesa.

Note: Nei pressi della chiesa di Voltino, subito dopo in direzione Vesio sono presenti alcuni posti auto liberi.

A route that allows us to get to know the Brasa Valley which, thanks to its stream, has been the site of numerous artisan activities, such as mills and forges, since the 16th century. This is also an excellent opportunity to visit the hamlets of Villa, Ustecchio and Voltino.

Before starting our journey we stop to admire the view from the exceptional panoramic balcony located at the back of the church of San Lorenzo which offers us a broad view of the Brasa valley and some hamlets of Tremosine, the street is also located a stage of the Path of respect with message by our Association. On one wall of the church bell tower there is also a copy of the Roman tombstone that was found near the hamlet

From Voltino, we take the main road in the direction of Vesio di Tremosine, always paying attention to traffic. Once we reach Fucine, we continue uphill to the church of San Bartolomeo. A brief visit to the church and a look from the churchyard is appropriate here.

We continue on the road to reach the town of Villa, a pretty and small hamlet with its small church and its picturesque alleys.

After a short stretch on the main road near the nursery, we take path no. 149 which will allow us to travel along the Val di Brasa alongside the stream of the same name.

According to studies, the waters of the Brasa come from the Bondo stream which, burying itself upstream, crosses the moraine on which Vesio stands to flow at around 550 meters above sea level. The stream was the main source of energy for the work carried out in the last century (approximately from 1850 to 1960) in the Brasa valley (with leather tannery, mills for grinding wheat and corn, forges for forging nails).

Once you reach the houses of Ponti di Brasa, continue on the BVG – Bassa Via del Garda route, signpost 110, towards Voltino.

The path starts to climb again but without particular difficulties and takes us near the artificial reservoir of the Pozza, which thanks to the water from the Brasa torrent, powers a hydroelectric power plant located on the lake inside a tunnel.

From here we leave the Val di Brasa and continue along the BVG itinerary which will take us to Ustecchio.

In this stretch we will come across an interesting place, the Voltino diaclasis, a deep crack in the rock already inspected and registered in the Brescia speleological register, and, next to it, a rock spur with stupendous views of Lake Garda and the chain of Baldo.

Once we reach Ustecchio, our route involves going down the road to the small church and going up the restored but steep connection to the town (this section can be avoided by going directly up to the town near the pedestrian crossing.

From Ustecchio you always go up following the BVG – Bassa Via del Garda itinerary, signpost 110, until you reach Voltino where, after a passage through the historic centre, we return to the church.

Note: Near the church of Voltino, immediately after in the direction of Vesio, there are some free parking spaces.

Eine Route, die es uns ermöglicht, das Brasa-Tal kennenzulernen, das dank seines Baches seit dem 16. Jahrhundert Schauplatz zahlreicher handwerklicher Aktivitäten wie Mühlen und Schmieden war. Dies ist auch eine ausgezeichnete Gelegenheit, die Weiler Villa, Ustecchio und Voltino zu besuchen.

Bevor wir unsere Reise beginnen, halten wir an, um die Aussicht vom außergewöhnlichen Panoramabalkon auf der Rückseite der Kirche von San Lorenzo zu bewundern, der uns einen weiten Blick auf das Brasa-Tal und einige Weiler von Tremosine bietet. Die Straße ist auch eine Etappe der Weg des Respekts mit Botschaft unseres Vereins. An einer Wand des Glockenturms der Kirche befindet sich außerdem eine Kopie des römischen Grabsteins, der in der Nähe des Weilers gefunden wurde

Von Voltino aus nehmen wir die Hauptstraße in Richtung Vesio di Tremosine und achten dabei stets auf den Verkehr. Sobald wir Fucine erreicht haben, geht es weiter bergauf zur Kirche San Bartolomeo. Hier bietet sich ein kurzer Besuch der Kirche und ein Blick vom Kirchhof an.

Wir setzen die Straße fort und erreichen den Ort Villa, einen hübschen kleinen Weiler mit seiner kleinen Kirche und seinen malerischen Gassen.

Nach einem kurzen Stück auf der Hauptstraße in der Nähe der Gärtnerei nehmen wir den Weg Nr. 149, der es uns ermöglicht, durch das Val di Brasa entlang des gleichnamigen Baches zu wandern.

Studien zufolge stammt das Wasser der Brasa aus dem Bach Bondo, der sich flussaufwärts vergräbt und die Moräne überquert, auf der Vesio auf etwa 550 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel fließen soll. Der Bach war die Hauptenergiequelle für die im letzten Jahrhundert (ca. 1850 bis 1960) im Brasa-Tal durchgeführten Arbeiten (mit Ledergerberei, Mühlen zum Mahlen von Weizen und Mais, Schmieden zum Schmieden von Nägeln).

Sobald Sie die Häuser von Ponti di Brasa erreicht haben, fahren Sie weiter auf der Route BVG – Bassa Via del Garda, Wegweiser 110, in Richtung Voltino.

Der Weg beginnt wieder bergauf, jedoch ohne besondere Schwierigkeiten, und führt uns in die Nähe des künstlichen Stausees Pozza, der dank des Wassers des Wildbachs Brasa ein Wasserkraftwerk am See in einem Tunnel antreibt.

Von hier aus verlassen wir das Val di Brasa und folgen der BVG-Route, die uns nach Ustecchio führt.

Auf diesem Abschnitt stoßen wir auf einen interessanten Ort, den Voltino diaclasis, einen tiefen Riss im Fels, der bereits untersucht und im speläologischen Register von Brescia registriert wurde, und daneben auf einen Felsvorsprung mit atemberaubendem Blick auf den Gardasee und die Kette der Gardasee Baldo.

Sobald wir Ustecchio erreicht haben, führt unsere Route über die Straße hinunter zur kleinen Kirche und über die wiederhergestellte, aber steile Verbindung zur Stadt hinauf (dieser Abschnitt kann umgangen werden, indem man in der Nähe des Fußgängerüberwegs direkt in die Stadt hinauffährt).

Von Ustecchio aus geht es immer bergauf und folgt der Route BVG – Bassa Via del Garda, Wegweiser 110, bis wir Voltino erreichen, wo wir nach einem Durchgang durch das historische Zentrum zur Kirche zurückkehren.

Hinweis: In der Nähe der Kirche von Voltino, gleich danach Richtung Vesio, gibt es einige kostenlose Parkplätze.
